Balkan Security Forum Association is in process of building its
structures on the Balkans.
In 2004 is going on the process of building national department in the
Republic of Macedonia, and the work on building national departments in the
Republic of Serbia and Monte Negro has started. For the next year is planned
the building of national departments in the Republic of Rumania and the Republic of Turkey, and afterwards it
will be worked out with the Republic of Greece.
The
National Department of Balkan Security Forum has the status of an independent
non-profit juridical person, registered and acting upon the laws of the
country, on which territory the department is established.
The national department builds up a structure, symmetrical to the
sections of the Balkan Security Forum. The department coordinates its work with
the other departments in the region, whereas each department is leading the joint activity of all national departments of the Forum for
two years, on a rotation principle.
The departments co-operate by goodwill, but having independent financial politics and activity.
After the establishment of a national department, two of its
representatives become members of the Board of Directors of the Balkan Security
Forum.
